why
Most apps want to show you everything. I wanted one that shows me a single thing. A flight, a birthday, a match, dinner with someone I haven’t seen in months. Whatever is coming up next and matters most.
how
Open it and that one event is all there is: its date, its place, and a countdown. It also sits on the home screen, the lock screen and in a Live Activity, so I don’t have to remember to open an app to remember what I’m looking forward to.
Everything else waits in the Ledger until its turn. Birthdays and anniversaries come back around on their own. If something is already in your calendar, you can bring that one event across. Herald only looks when you ask, and never keeps syncing.
No account, no tracking. Your events stay on your phone.
